To replicate the aging process, the bezel and band are ion plated in black, which is then partially removed to create a well-used texture. A luminescent beige finish on the watch hands adds the final touch, for a distinctive timeworn look. The 40th-anniversary logo designed by Eric Haze is featured on the case back, while the buckle showcases the Shock-Resist mark symbolizing the G-SHOCK commitment to toughness. For this limited-edition collaboration, G-SHOCK partners with PORTER to create a unique collector’s bag crafted in an octagonal shape that reflects the GM-B2100 design. Made with densely woven, water-repellent Ventile® fabric, this premium bag features a leather tag stamped with the G-SHOCK 40th-anniversary mark. PORTER Master bag craftsman Kichizo Yoshida founded YOSHIDA & Co. in 1935, and went on to introduce the PORTER brand in 1962.
